Eddie Three Eagles was born in the shadow of majestic Pikes Peak in Central Colorado. On the sacred land where many ancient tribes came to pray and pay tribute to their Maker, near the springs of Manitou, where the spirits breathed their breath into the magical waters.
Eddie grew up on the Mescalero Apache Reservation where his Grandfather taught Eddie the ways of his ancestors. It was here where Eddie Three Eagles was first introduced to the haunting melodies the of the Indian flute. Captivated by it's entrancing sound, young Eddie Three Eagles spent many hours of many evenings sitting alone, under the stars, developing the ability to express, thru his music, the emotions of the American Indian.
Today Eddie Three Eagles has returned to his birthplace in Colorado Springs, Colorado. When Eddie is not traveling around the country, sharing the beauty of his music, he devotes much of his time bringing love and compassion to underprivileged children of all races. Eddie's spirit is at it's most radiant when he visits hospitals and brings smiles to the faces of children with Downs Syndrome.
Eddie feels deeply about the direction that Indian music is taking today. The music of his heart, the music taught to him by his Grandfather, who learned from his Grandfather. The music of Eddie's ancestors is being polluted and misrepresented by everything from synthesized musicians to African drum rhythms to New age musicians who are being inspired by some long dead Egyptian Pharaoh.
Eddie Three Eagles is the "REAL THING." We at USA Talent Agency feel privileged to call Eddie Three Eagles our BROTHER.
